Lead Generation

Maximise leads Using our lead generation Dashboards

Leads come in through forms, calls and ads, and the numbers end up in three different places. By the time you’ve pieced them together, the week’s gone.

Our lead generation dashboards put every lead, and what it cost you, on one page so you can see which channels deserve more budget.

What is a Lead Generation Dashboard?

A lead generation dashboard brings together how many leads you’re getting, where they came from and how much each one cost. Form submissions, phone calls and ad conversions sit side by side, so you can follow a lead from the first click to the enquiry landing in your inbox.

Our lead generation dashboards are built in Data Studio (formerly Looker Studio) and pull straight from GA4, Google Search Console and Google Ads. You’ll see cost per lead by campaign, which landing pages convert and which channels bring in enquiries at a price you can live with.

Why use our Lead Generation Dashboards?

More leads is only good news if you can afford them. These dashboards show you both sides at once, so you know when to push and when to pull back.

Stop counting leads by hand

No more tallying form fills from your inbox and calls from your phone log. Every lead source updates on its own, so your report is ready before your first coffee.

Know what each lead really costs

Cost per lead broken down by channel, campaign and landing page. Spot the campaign quietly charging you double and move that budget somewhere that's pulling its weight.

Find the gaps in your funnel

Follow the path from click to landing page to enquiry. When plenty of people land but few get in touch, you'll know the page needs work before you touch the ads.

Reports clients can read

Send a live link your client can open any time, or schedule a PDF to land in their inbox every Monday. Add their logo and it looks like you built it from scratch.

Connect your lead sources in minutes

Setup is three steps, and none of them involves code. Choose your template, sign in to the accounts your leads come from, and Data Studio fills in the rest.

Start reporting

Charts fill with your own lead data straight away. Rename it, recolour it or share it as soon as it's loaded.

What's tracked in our Lead Generation Dashboards

Total leads

Every enquiry across forms, calls and ad conversions, added up in one figure. Watch it against last period to see whether this month is heading the right way.

Cost per lead (CPL)

Total spend ÷ total leads = CPL. Compare it with what a new customer is worth to your business. When the CPL rises past that your limit, you'll need to monitor if the campaign is sustainable.

Lead conversion rate

Leads ÷ sessions × 100 = lead conversion rate. The share of visitors who become leads. A falling rate with steady traffic usually points to the form, the offer or the page itself.

Form submissions

Tracked as a key event in GA4, so you can see which forms get filled in and which pages they sit on. Useful when a contact form, a quote form and a newsletter sign-up are all counted as leads.

Phone calls

Calls from your ads or generated from your website. For plenty of local businesses, the phone is where the best leads come from so it's key to ensure you're tracking this.

Landing page conversion rate

Which pages turn visits into enquiries and which ones people leave without a word. Test a new hero title or image and you'll see the effect here first.

And more in every template

Each template is packed with the exact metrics you need. Browse our full range to find the right fit for your campaigns.

FAQs

A report that shows how many leads you’re getting, where they come from and what each one costs. It pulls data from your website analytics and ad accounts into one place, which beats checking each platform separately.

At a minimum: total leads, cost per lead, lead conversion rate and leads by channel. Add form submissions, phone calls and landing page performance if you want to see where people drop off.
It depends on your industry and what a customer is worth to you. A £60 lead is expensive for a café and a bargain for a solicitor. Work out your average customer value and how many leads it takes to win one, and you’ll have your target.
After checkout, open the template, save your own version and choose your data sources when prompted. Sign in with the Google account that has access to your GA4 property and ad accounts, and the charts fill with your data.
Yes. The dashboard reads the leads your platforms already record, so form submissions need to be set up as key events in GA4 and as conversions in Google Ads. Until tracking is in place, the lead figures will show zero.
Yes, as long as calls are being recorded somewhere. Calls from Google Ads call assets and taps on the call button in your Google Business Profile can both be pulled in. If you use a call tracking tool, that needs connecting as an extra data source.
Yes. Leads are broken down by channel and campaign, so you can compare paid search, organic, social and email side by side and see which one brings in enquiries for the least money.
Duplicate the template once per client and connect their accounts. Each copy runs on its own, so one client’s data never appears in another client’s report.
Click Share in Data Studio and add their email addresses, the same way you’d share a Google Doc. Prefer not to add people? Send a view-only link, download a PDF or set the report to arrive by email on a regular schedule.
Your copy is fully editable. Swap in your logo, update the colours and fonts, and move or remove any chart you don’t need.
Not out of the box. The dashboard covers leads up to the moment they’re submitted. To see which leads turned into sales, you’ll need to bring in your CRM data or import offline conversions into Google Ads.
Visitors who decline cookies won’t be counted in GA4, while your CRM records every submission, including spam and duplicates. Platforms also credit leads to channels differently. Check the date ranges match first, then compare one form at a time.
